Running a store
- How Merch.link worksDesign your merch, share your store, and fans buy. We print each item to order and ship it, so you never hold stock.
- Signing in and your accountSign in with the email and password you already use. One sign-in covers merch.link and your store's own address.
- Your ordersOrders lists every sale with your profit on each. Open an order to see its breakdown: price, the Merch.link fee, printing and processing.
- Opening a store and choosing its nameYour store lives at yourname.merch.link. Names use lowercase letters and numbers, and a few names are reserved.
- What your store page showsYour store page shows your header and profile image, name, location, bio, links and published merch. Each item has its own shareable link.
- Store settings: images, links and colorUpload a header and a profile image, crop them to fit, and add your location, bio, social links and background color.
- Store visibility: published, buy only and privatePublished stores are public. Buy only stores share individual item links without a profile. Private stores can't be seen by visitors.
- Creating merch: upload, position and publishUpload a PNG, JPG or GIF (5 KB to 12 MB), drag and resize it on the shirt, pick a colour, then publish. Changes save themselves as you go.
- Products, colors and sizesPick a blank and a color for each design. Each color comes in specific sizes; a color with none left shows as out of stock.
- Choosing the right shirtEach blank has a different feel, fit and price. The products page shows what buyers usually pay for each one and what you keep per shirt.
- Benefit storesBenefit stores donate the artist's share. Buyers see a Benefit label and a Raised total over $30, with the call to action repeated on long pages.
- How fees and profit workYou set the price. Merch.link keeps 20%, printing and card processing come out, and the rest is your profit.
- Fee creditsA fee credit pays Merch.link's fee on your sales until it runs out, so you keep that money as extra profit.
- Getting paidWe pay through Stripe, monthly, once your balance reaches $25.00. Connect Stripe to get paid.
- Apple Pay and Google Pay on your storeFans can pay with Apple Pay or Google Pay on your store. It is set up for you, including after you rename your store.
