Help › Running a store

The orders page

Open Orders on your store page (signed in). It shows your total orders, your total profit, what has been paid out, and what's waiting for the next payout. Only you, and anyone else who owns the store, can see it.

Each order shows its status, when it was placed, the customer's name and city, and your profit on it.

Order details

Open an order to see what was bought, where it ships, its status and tracking. Your buyer sees the same page without your breakdown: they only ever see the price, shipping, tax and total.

Your breakdown

Each order shows:

  • Price: the items at your prices.
  • Merch.link fee: our share of the price (20% unless your store has its own rate). See fees.
  • Fee credit applied: when your store has a fee credit, it pays our fee.
  • Printing: what our print partner charged to print the order, including any tax they charged us.
  • Processing: the card processing fee for the order.
  • Your profit: what's left. It's never below $0.

Shipping and any sales tax are paid by the buyer and passed on, so they never come out of your profit.

When you're paid

Profit is paid monthly once your balance reaches $25.00. Smaller balances roll over. See getting paid. If an order is refunded, its profit is taken back out of your pending balance, or reversed from your Stripe account if it was already paid.

New order emails

Every owner of the store gets an email for each new order, with the same breakdown.
